Utopian landscapes are omnipresent in my mind. Places to go when there is no place to go. Utopian landscapes are places to escape to. Journeys with the inner eye. Holidays for the mind. Fantasy over reality? Or recharging one’s batteries to cope with the real. Well, which is real: the real beautiful or the beautiful real?

Utopische Landschaften sind in meinem Kopf allgegenwärtig. Orte, an die man gehen kann, wenn es keinen Ort gibt, an den man gehen kann. Utopische Landschaften zum Ausbüchsen. Reisen im inneren Auge. Urlaub im Geiste. Phantasie über die Realität? Oder Kraft tanken, um mit dem Realen fertig zu werden. Nun, was ist real: das real Schöne oder das schöne Reale?
Die Serie „Utopian Landscapes“ entstand 2022 (noch vor dem Terrorkrieg in Europa).
Alle Arbeiten auf Karton 380g, 60×40 cm, inkl. ca. 1cm weißer Rand.
Material: Mixed media Tinte, Pigmente, Wasser, Kohle, Kreide
*Alle Tinten wurden von mir selbst hergestellt, z.b. aus Kupfer, Rotkohl, Kurkuma
